When it comes to higher leverage skills, almost nothing beats mastering your mind.

That is what this section is all about.

Below you'll find my favorite tools and tips for mastering your mind.

This is one of the hardest concepts to master.

It has one that has been sought out from the times before people knew who they were, and it is one that will continue to plague us with wonderment for the time being.

In the sections below, you'll find that there are many different approaches to take.

All in all, you need to focus on this next statement.

Tend the mind like a garden, and it will reward you, I promise you that.



If there is one common theme among almost all successful people living a heightened life, that would be meditation.

Not only is meditation one of the highest leverage skills that one can pursue, but it is also one that pays out in times of crisis, times of happiness, and just about any time.

On the top left, you'll see an icon. This indicates that the article you are reading about revolves around meditation.

Let's make this simple.

In the beginning, it can seem very complicated to start meditating.

I mean sitting there with your thoughts alone?


That's what it takes, a bit of time and a lot of patience.

Meditation does not need to start with complete silence of the mind or anything intense, but instead, it can be merely a focus on one's breath, and from there a whole new world can unravel.

Each time your mind wanders, don't get made or shameful, but pull it back to the immediate present.

Over time this skill will build.

That's a basic overview of meditation, so let's jump into some of my favorite tools that a Beginner can use.


By now, if you've looked for anything related to mediation, you've probably heard of Headspace.

Headspace is a meditation app, and in my opinion, one of the best for beginners.

Not only do they have a free ten-day trial where Andy walks you through finally getting some headspace. With crystal clear audio and great visualizations, headspace takes it to a new level.

Another excellent app for starting meditation is Calm.

Calm helped me start my day, every day for about six months when I first downloaded it.

For beginner's, I would recommend seeing what resonates with you the best.

The Power of Now - Eckhart Tolle

If you are a reader or consumer of audiobooks, sometimes you don't want a guided meditation.

That's where Eckhart Tolle comes in.

His books are award-winning and help anyone using them get centered and present instead of living in the past or the future.

The Power of Now is a book for those looking to stop lacking and start living in the present.

Alan Watts

Alan Watts was a philosopher who brought the eastern viewpoint to the western life.

Which was needed in his time, and is desperately needed now?

Alan isn't around today, but any of his books or Youtube videos are something to give a listen/read too.

He has helped me through times of anxiety, hopelessness, and understanding the bigger picture of life.

Some people have a bit more experience with meditation and the understanding of how to clear your mind.

If that's you then you may be looking for something different.

We often neglect our future and the ability to get both in tune and outside of our body.

That is where the intermediate section comes it.

Not only are you able to feel the energy around you, but in many cases, you can change the neurology of your mind.

Dr. Joe Dispenza

First off we have Dr. Joe Dispenza.

He has many books including You Are The Placebo and Breaking The Habit of Being Yourself.

Now, where his approach differs is that he operates between neuroscience, quantum physics, and traditional yogic meditation.

His meditations range from intermediate to advanced, so make sure to start slow and follow the pacing of his books and accompanying guided meditations.

Bentinho Massaro

Bentinho is a delightful soul, being so young, yet so "woke."

His meditations and methodology lie more in the spiritual realm than any of the other experts that we have talked about.

Many of his meditations have helped guide me through my morning, both from his youtube channel and his free Trinfinity Academy.

That is where you can find his videos on everything from understanding spirituality, to abundance, to non-duality and so much more.

Tony Robbins - Priming

Well, this technically isn't considered a meditation, I've had similar feelings from this as a more extended meditation.

Anthony (Tony) Robbins is a well-known name in self-help, finance, and most every other field.

His morning primer is one of the best wake-up based gratitude and visualization mediations I've done.

When it comes to being "advanced" at meditation, there is a contradictory nature in itself.

Advanced mediators end up realizing they know themselves less than they did at the start because as they expanded their minds, they grew the knowingness of what is possible.

That's why I can't recommend a resource.

Instead, I recommend advanced meditators or those seeking more than the resources above to start focusing on group mediations and go on a retreat or two.

Either of these will help you feel the power of what meditation can do, especially when the group or retreat has a firm intention behind it.



I think we can all agree that motivation helps us in most areas of life.

When someone is unmotivated to perform a task, ravish a lover, or workout we end up seeing a lot fall apart in their life.

And, well, being unmotivated is your fault.

You've yet to build up the skill of being able to motivate yourself.

Which is why motivation is so important.

Because when we can learn our trigger points, we can keep an endless amount of motivation surrounding us, and propelling us to a heightened life.

For instance, those pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors may love Gary Vaynerchuk and his ability to motivate anyone to hustle.

While others may want more of spiritual and mindset based approach like Jay Shetty or Preston Smiles provides.

And others want to get into Flow as Jason Silva talks about.

Knowing this is a powerful tool to use anytime you feel unable to do what needs to do get done, whatever that may be.

If you aren't familiar with nootropics than get prepared to be blown away.

Nootropics are defined as:
